Hey Guys! How are you? Today I am sharing with you a few of my reading resolutions for 2016. I know I’m a little late, but i just totally forgot to write this post. Anyway, let’s just get on with the goals.
Read 30 Books
I decided to choose a reasonable number for my goodreads challenge. I actually really enjoy this challenge and the fact that I can keep track of everything I read in one single place. Last year i read less than 30 books, but I’m pretty positive that 2016 will be better.

Read 3 classics
I’ve been meaning to get into reading classics for the past years and I don’t know why, but i never really did. So i thought that reading 10% of my challenge of classics would be pretty reasonable. We’ll see if i can do it.

Lower my TBR pile
My tbr pile is currently at 56 books, (55 now because I’ve read one book since I’ve wrote these goals. I wish i could lower it to 30-something books. A lot of these books are classics or adult fiction. I also have some books on my TBR that i don’t really want to read, so I guess I would like to do an unhaul of those. (This is just an idea, nothing is determined)
Expand my reading horizons
Reading more diversely is something I really want to do this year. I want to get more into the Literary Fiction genre, as well as Middle Grade fiction, Graphic Novels (hence the picture) and Non-fiction (per example Memoirs). I’m also interested in getting more into books centered arount mental illness or lgbt literature.
Don’t feel pressured about reading
This is another explanation why i didn’t exceed on my goddreads challenge. I want to read whatever I want. be able to read books with 5 pages and books with 500. I don’t want to care if I’m 10 books behind or ahead. And of how much time it takes for me to read a book.
Check out the PopSugar Challenge
The PopSugar 2016 reading challenge is awesome. Therefore, at the end of the year, I want to see how many challenges I completed. Check out the challenges here!
Good thing you like resolutions/challenges. I don’t like those haha. Great post, Antonio!

Great resolutions! I understand the one about the pressure, sometimes I feel pressured about reading, but we just have to remind ourselves that we read at our rhythm, and we do it because we love it 🙂

That’s so true. I used to get stressed because I was two (more like 8) books behind on my goodreads challenge. I don’t want to do that anymore.
